Thomas A. Castle, MSCE
Tom is a registered structural engineer with over ten years experience in structural engineering design including the design of earthquake resistant structures and seismic analysis of existing structures. He attended California State Polytechnical University in San Luis Obispo and received his Masters at the University of California, Berkeley.
Tom has published numerous papers on structural behavior of existing building structural components, is a member of SEAONC (Structural Engineers Association of Northern California) and served on the planning committee for the Soft Story Seismic Retrofit Board.
Gilbert Murrieta
Gilbert joined the Boyett team in 2001 where he leads their Wood Framing Department, specializing in Seismic Retrofitting projects. With over 25 years of experience he has a diverse background in the construction trade.
Gilbert began his career as a Union Carpenter in 1983 working in the Residential field, then moving onto Commercial framing where he worked as a Supervisor, Estimator and Project Manager for over 10 years. He now leads the SeismicFix team.
